About Caroline |
Caroline Chen is a multimedia journalist based in Beijing, covering China for the Associated Press with a special interest in sports, public health, and culture. Formerly based in New York City, she contributed to Cannabis Wire and Heavy.com, and worked as the associate producer for the three-episode original video series Correspondence.
Caroline worked for The Associated Press as a video intern before and was the researcher and production assistant for 200 Years of Surgery, a documentary about the history of surgery. She has also reported from Hong Kong and Vancouver, Canada. She holds a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Communication University of China, and a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. |
